Woodland Track:

We are very pleased to announce a major new development which enhances the equestrian experience at the Durdans. The Durdans has 18 acres of woodland adjacent to our paddocks and we have recently finished the construction of a woodchip horse track through the woods. The track is nearly 1 1/2 miles long and winds its way through the woods. At two separate junctions, more adventurous riders can jump their horses over a series of cross country jumps whilst others continue their hack through the woods. The track also skirts past the recently restored listed graves of 4 Derby winners.

The woods are peaceful and quiet and riders can easily imagine themselves to be in the deepest country-side. On a fine day, it really is a wonderful experience to ride through the woods. If riders are lucky , they may spy the resident deer which live in the woods.
